About the role
As an integral member of our team you will contribute to the development and delivery of units within speech pathology at undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to the institutes research course and administrative functions.
You will:
provide leadership in developing teaching coordinating and moderating units in speech pathology;
undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
supervise students undertaking project units honours courses and research higher degrees;
participate in team projects and various committee meetings; and
travel between campuses will be required.
About you
You will work as part of the Institutes team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational research and professional experience and seek to embed long and shortterm research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission. You will be a creative thinker and avid problemsolver who possesses initiative innovation and a cando attitude.
You will possess:
a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia or proven eligibility for being a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia;
demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and learning;
demonstrated record of research at a national level; and
organisational and administrative abilities necessary for coordination and administration of units.
