Job Description

Who are we looking for:
Woodard & Curran seeks a detailoriented civil engineer to support various sitecivil projects. Based in our Portland office you will work with teams on projects primarily spanning five geographies in the northeast but with the opportunity to engage in exciting projects around the country. The successful candidate will work with client and project managers technical specialists and other engineers supporting our clients on a wide range of site development utility and stormwater projects. You will work on challenging and unique projects in a highly collaborative environment.

To name a few these projects may include:
Site prep and development for public and private sectors
Grey and green Stormwater solutions
Parks and open space projects
Landfill expansion and closures
Offering Flexible Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days in the office a week preferred
Office location: Portland ME
Travel up to 10: Northern Maine New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:

    • Technical writing and communications with clients and regulatory authorities.
    • Site design site grading erosion & sediment control and stormwater management design.
    • Working with designers to develop design plans.
    • Preparing local state and federal permit application packages.
    • Preparing specifications.
    • Construction administration.
    • Mentoring and delegating to stafflevel engineers.
    • Delegating and managing project tasks to staff while overseeing total project delivery.
    • Enforcing and applying quality assurance and quality control processes.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

    • BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
    • 48years experience with sitecivilrelated projects.
    • Licensed Professional Engineer in any State
    • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and HydroCAD software preferred.
$77000 $90000 a year
This positions anticipated pay range is provided below; final exempt salary or nonexempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets. #LITB1

Vacation time is provided to full and parttime regular employees. Vacation is accrued based on the number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.
