Job Description
Were presenting an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Merchandising Operations in Milwaukee WI. This role is critical in executing operational activities aligned with our Merchandise Strategy playing a key part in the overall success of NBF. This person will work crossfunctionally across all NBF departments to ensure seamless and alignment. This is a hybrid role with an inoffice requirement of TuesdayThursday.
Heres a General Overview of What Youll be Doing:
- Pricing Strategy & :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Category Management team
- Conduct financial analysis and synthesize data to support strategic recommendations
- Implement pricing strategies across all channels and monitor competitive movements
- Drive margin management through leading clearance processes and staying updated on factors that impact cost structures (e.g. tariffs warehouse costs discounting) in order to build models and recommendations
- Create workflows and templates to streamline processes and ensure effective communication of complex ideas to senior leadership
- Database Governance & Integration:
- Lead the team in improving data governance and enhancing product data quality
- Establish frameworks to enhance compliance data quality SEO customer experience and order conversion
- Drive continuous improvement in the NBF PIM system to increase efficiencies and automate workflows
- Collaborate with senior leadership on highpriority projects and transform strategies into actionable plans
- Analytics & Business Intelligence:
- Lead the creation of weekly monthly and quarterly reports on vendor/category/product performance sales & intake profitability & productivity and inventory
- Build Power BI dashboards to support merchandising activities and provide datadriven insights for decisionmaking
- Operational Alignment:
- Develop and manage new product launch calendars
- Identify milestones schedule meetings and ensure timely of new product launches across teams (e.g. eComm Marketing Inventory Sales)
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training manuals for future hires
What Were Looking For:
- 6 years of experience in Merchandising Buying Planning Price Management Finance or related fields with an omnichannel retailer or ecommerceled business
- 4 years of experience in people management
- Strong processoriented mindset with experience in creating and maintaining SOPs
- Proficiency in Excel Power BI and other business analysis tools. SQL knowledge is a plus
- A drive for continuous improvement and the ability to challenge the status quo
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to see the big picture
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
- A confident and forthright leader
