Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
- As a Tax Senior Manager you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic tax guidance and leadership within our organization.
- Lead a team of dedicated professionals serving as a mentor and trusted advisor while also fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize your extensive expertise to drive excellence in client service delivery ensuring that all tax engagements are executed with precision and efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to provide timely insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of tax planning strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client optimizing their tax position and maximizing savings opportunities.
- Partner with upper management to drive new business development initiatives actively participating in client meetings presentations and proposal development.
- Manage the full lifecycle of client engagements from initial scoping and planning through to final delivery ensuring that all deadlines and quality control standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies within the tax department.
Preferred Qualifications: A Masters degree in Accounting Taxation or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree is required.
- You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting or a related field with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Maintain all necessary licenses required for the role.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure managing multiple assignments and deadlines with ease.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in utilizing relevant technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
