HWI has an exciting opportunity to to join our dynamic People team. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our field leaders and our employees.

Summary

At HWI we are looking for human resources business leaders to help us manage our most important resource our talent. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will report to the Senior Director PeopleAmericas and serve as a trusted and collaborative advisor in providing proactive practical and valued HR thought partnership to field leadership while ensuring alignment with HWIs corporate culture and business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Will travel at least 25 of the time. Current areas of support include Missouri and Oklahoma. Additional travel areas as needed. Hybrid work arrangement 2 days in Robinson office per week).
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relation issues. Conducts effective thorough and objective investigations. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Provides daytoday performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching counseling career development disciplinary actions).
  • Assists in the recruiting process in the assigned geographic areas by working with hiring managers to develop an understanding of open positions screen resumes conduct interviews and assist with onboarding on new employees.
  • Drives change as a proactive and valued member of the functions management team driving strategic plans and objectives across their geographic area.
  • Provides guidance and input on organizational design workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Followsup to ensure training objectives are met. Delivers training as needed.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions programs and policies.
  • Provide organizational development interventions and support including organization design leadership transitions enhance communication processes and reward/recognition programs.
  • Assess organization capabilities; identify competency and talent gaps ensure development of people resources; support talent assessment and succession planning.
  • Be a trusted partner and initiate and maintain effective communications with management and employees; provide coaching and guidance on matters related to performance management offer feedback on style and behaviors to improve employee productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure and maintain the alignment of all corporate HR initiatives and programs implement and deliver HR programs within the assigned geographic area.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Management or related field
  • At least 5 to 7 years of overall Human Resource Management operating as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager supporting multiple lines of business/locations.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices talent management employee and labor relations performance management and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills including presentation planning and delivery skills
  • Strong influencing skills with people/teams and experience operating successfully in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Relationship building and change management skills will be essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to impact organizational effectiveness and excel on high performing teams capable of delivering strategic results.
  • Significant experience with workforce analytics plus the ability to use data and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated strong business knowledge and capability to assess HR implications of business priorities.
  • Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Unquestionable personal and business integrity with credibility both within the company and externally
  • Previous experience working with union representedworkforce is preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to work locations to assist with key company initiatives.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree Human Resources Business Management or related field preferred
  • Strong intellectual capacity to assimilate and analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data for making solid business decisions
  • The ability to build relationships with key decision makers and demonstrated acumen for consulting with functional leaders in the development of talent and business strategies
  • Effective change agent constantly challenging conventional thinking approach and methodology to drive breakthrough results with a process focused continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong desire to be held accountable for results
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Physical Activity: Requires 1/3 to 2/3 of the time sitting and less than 1/3 of the time standing walking using hands and fingers reaching and speaking/hearing.
Lifting: Requires lifting up to 25 pounds less than 1/3 of time.
Vision: Requires accurate close and distance vision.
Environment: Requires more than 2/3 of the time working in an office setting with very limited exposure.
Noise: Requires exposure to moderate noise
