The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Director of Sales for the Courtyard by Marriott of West Springfield.
This is a great opportunity to join the Marriott family and showcase your talents! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar sales role and have a proven history of increasing business sales.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through various communication channels using professional courteous and ethical interpersonal skills and company/franchise programs.
Research and develop new clients and sources of business.
Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations DMOs RTCs etc.
Work with the General Manager and Management Company representatives to achieve sales goals.
Active involvement in Revenue Management.
Effectively communicate with all departments and management team members to ensure that clients groups and function needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Respond to all sales inquirys in a timely and professional manner.
Participate with the management team in overall operations support when needed.
The ideal candidate must be able to easily use and navigate standard industry computer programs and have outstanding written and verbal skills.
Prior sales experience is required. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with lower or midlevel management experience and a proven track record of achievement.
2year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major or High School Degree and 4 years equivalent job experience in sales and/or guest services front desk or related professional area.
$50000$65000 per year. Dental Insurance Health Insurance Vision Insurance available. Life insurance policy provided at no expense to Full Time Employees.
