The Company
Wallis Drilling is 100 WA Family owned and is one of the most experienced drilling companies in the industry. Wallis Drilling is well known for their outstanding safety culture and the development of new technology in their rigs.

The Role
This role reports to our Finance Manager and is supported by a team of finance professionals. You will build on your current finance skills and put your accounts learnings into practice. You will support the team by assisting with a range of accounting functions including accounts reconciliations and monthend processes.

Duties

• Assisting with monthly and statutory financial reporting including board reports profit & loss and balance sheets
• Providing support to the accounts payable receivable and Payroll functions
• General administrative duties as required
• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

About you
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who is ambitious and focused on gaining exposure across different aspects of the finance and accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and supporting decisionmaking by providing accurate financial data to management.

The successful applicant will require:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to capture data accurately and think analytically
• Solid understanding of general accounting practices including accounts payable and receivable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fantastic problemsolving abilities with a proactive and solutionfocused mindset
• Selfdrive and adaptability and be able to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work 30 hours per week.
