Job Description
High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years library experience including one year of experience in the data entry of bibliographic information as well as an understanding of specific cataloging rules procedures and organization. Ability to prioritize and expedite work assignments. Ability to instruct student assistants in work methods and procedures. Ability to operate standard office and library equipment. Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in this position minimum 30 wpm. Ability to effectively interact with the public students faculty and staff. Ability to recognize identifying information in one or more foreign languages and/or music. Ability to utilize proper library source manuals.
