Under the guidance and mentorship of experienced professionals the New Business Development Account Representative at Airgas will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base. Youll be responsible for introducing our products to businesses industrial and medical establishments and individuals with a strong focus on building lasting customer relationships.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and generate leads.

  • Present our products to clients and tailor sales presentations to their specific needs.

  • Build rapport and address customer objections effectively.

  • Plan and organize work schedules to prospect qualify develop and close new accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Prepare sales proposals quotes and contracts.

  • Stay updated on market trends and competition to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

  • Maintain accurate records and submit required reports.

  • Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Present a professional image reflective of our company values.

Are you a MATCH

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 4 years of successful sales experience in industrial commercial or educational markets.

  • Knowledge of industrial specialty and medical gases (preferred).

  • Proficiency in common email spreadsheet word processing and presentation software.

  • Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle with insurance coverage.

  • Strong negotiation and selling skills.

  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Ability to adapt to different personalities and backgrounds.

  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours to meet customer needs.
