- No Weekends!
- Review print job specifications to develop a full comprehension and thorough understanding of requirements in preflight before proceeding to prep
- Address job questions / tasks from other departments to keep client projects moving
- Follow all established department and company process guidelines and contribute feedback to improve current or emerging processes
- Experience as a Prepress and Layout Operator in a prepress environment at a printing operation
- Extensive experience using Adobe Indesign Photoshop Illustrator and Acrobat Pro
- Working knowledge of spotcolor / fourcolor separations dieline creation and trapping
- Knowledge of USPS mail requirements variable data printing Excel MS Office is a plus.
- Digital printing experience preferred
- Ability to organize several activities at the same time
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime if needed
- Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment
- Can perform basic bindery functions
- Knowledge of Wide Format Printing a Huge Plus!
