Experience in troubleshooting computer related hardware and software problems
Experience with Windows OS Mac OS and Linux OS
Experience with deploying multiple computers using an imaging process
Experience in an educational work environment
Experience in agricultural setting

Job Description:

Summary
ENTS is looking for a quality candidate for the position of Information Technology Support III. This position will be responsible for managing the computer hardware and software for faculty staff and graduate students as well as undergraduate computing labs in the ABE department. This position will also be handling numerous requests through support tickets email walkins and phone calls. Candidates should be able to juggle numerous requests simultaneously and deliver highlevel service consistently.


Key responsibilities include installing configuring and servicing hardware such as desktops laptops and printers as well as maintaining an organized inventory of IT assets. The candidate will also troubleshoot and provide firsttier support for a range of software applications quickly becoming familiar with departmental and universityspecific tools. Additionally they will be tasked with researching and implementing new technologies that align with academic goals such as those supporting online courses and specialized software.

Seniorlevel position applies advanced and specialized expertise and competencies
Typically receives general supervision with high level guidance on the most complex assignments
Completes assignments which are moderately difficult or difficult
Resolves issues including atypical issues and makes recommendations
May lead projects of limited scope
Functions as go to. Responds to inquiries and requests from others inside and outside work area
May act as a lead assigning tasks and providing guidance to lower level workers
May provide supervision to one to two other staff or lead a small work team
Provides guidance to students

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
