Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Design Engineer to join our team in Bangalore on a fulltime basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the field with strong skills in Catia v5 plastic and surface design automotive interiors and surfacing. This juniorlevel position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and contribute to our goal of delivering highquality innovative solutions to our clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Catia v5 is essential for detailed and accurate design work.
- Strong understanding and experience with plastic and surface design within the automotive industry.
- Experience with automotive interior design ensuring functional and aesthetic requirements are met.
- Ability to perform complex surfacing tasks to meet precise design specifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a design engineering role.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to develop innovative costeffective solutions.
- Good communication skills to effectively understand client requirements and collaborate with team members.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and design automotive components and assemblies using Catia v5.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments on proposed designs.
- Create and review technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs.
- Support the prototyping and testing phases to validate design performance.
- Continuously improve design processes and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
