- Aboriginal targeted opportunity (casual up to 35 hrs p/w)
- Botanic Gardens of Sydney Office location (up to 5 days p/w on site)
- Attractive hourly rate starting from $51.09 15 leave loading

Our First Nations Learning Officers support our education staff and volunteers to successfully deliver a range of educational programs and activities for children students and adults covering science the environment and other key learning areas and conduct other educational tours and activities.
Deliver education programs for students (Early Childhood to Year 12 and tertiary students) covering science geography and other key learning areas in an innovative interesting flexible and contemporary manner to ensure the needs of the target audience are met. Share your passion and enthusiasm with your audience!

We offer on the job training but there are a few things youll need to bring to this role such as:
- Good communication skills so you can deliver education programs to a wide range of audiences including people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in working with structured education programs (writing and delivering)
- Experience in the delivery of educational activities in an outdoor setting scientific or cultural institution.
Essential requirements
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring this check in line with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012.
- Current or ability to obtain a First Aid qualification or equivalent.
- Current NSW drivers licence.
