Cardiovascular IMPACT Senior Marketing Manager

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. Amgen has recently created a new capability Cardiovascular IMPACT Igniting Momentum through Policy Alliances Communications and Technology. We have a singular focus to reach our BOLD ambition reducing the number of cardiovascular events in the US by 50 by 2030. In this role the Marketing Senior Manager for Cardiovascular IMPACT will shape strategy and measurement of key programs that help us achieve this bold ambition. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing datadriven marketing programs that effectively communicate the impact of cardiovascular disease and the need for LDLC testing and guideline directed care.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing External Medical Engagement Corporate Communications Medical Advocacy and more to impact national institutional and individual customers in increasing LDLC testing and guideline directed cardiovascular care
  • Partner with field teams on key tactics program development and material creation
  • Engage with external opinion leaders and internal colleagues to execute and evolve above brand scientific exchanges that inspire changes across Integrated Delivery Networks. Serve as primary conduit for all LDLC Action Forums.
  • Develop deploy and measure targeted insightful messaging and educational resources tailored to advance Amgens above brand priorities. Partner with external cardiac and primary care organizations to deliver targeted disease state education for patients and providers
  • Apply market research and insights to drive disease state strategy and for primary care customers
  • Work with thirdparty vendors to facilitate the internal legal regulatory and medical review of marketing materials via the Materials Approval and Compliance (MAC)
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including sales global commercial capabilities and cDNA to align marketing strategies with overall business goals
  • Manage projects through the legal regulatory and medical review process to ensure compliance and effectiveness

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Masters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Associates degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in marketing healthcare management or related fields
  • 5 years of experience in a series of commercial roles of increasing scope scale and complexity within the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience engaging hospital or IDN systems opinion leaders and organizations to achieve marketing goals
  • Demonstrated success in working across teams in a highly matrixed fastpaced environment. Effective communication platform and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in managing vendors agencies and marketing projects
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions pharma industry guidelines and other compliancerelated issues
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing clinical marketing programs tailored for primary care audiences
  • Strong business acumen analytics and critical thinking skills
  • Cardiology primary care or hospital / IDN sales or marketing experience strongly preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
