Your Career
Bring your backend java cloud engineering skills to work on the latest cloud software/web applications. Help us deploy and scale the next generation of cloud security utilizing big data and analytics. We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join the team that is building our latest cloud security product Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Our DLP service is the industrys first clouddelivered Enterprise DLP that consistently protects sensitive data across all networks clouds and users. This fastgrowing cloud service prevents data breaches by identifying sensitive data consistently throughout the entire enterprise. It also guarantees that your data security strategy adheres to compliance and data privacy regulations. This role will also give you an unrivaled opportunity to build micro services to process terabytes of data efficiently with different cloud providers.
This role is located at our dynamic Santa Clara California headquarters campus and in the office 3 days a week.
Your Impact
Execute on the software development strategy to improve our dynamic highly distributed system
Understand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to delivery
Collaborate closely with the product management architects and devops to achieve quality releases
Work handinhand with customer support documentation and downstream teams to enable customer success
Make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize timetorelease while maintaining performance and scalability requirements
Be able to clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
Interview mentor and coach new team members

Your Experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 10 years or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required
- Be a selfstarter able to learn independently and adapt quickly
- At least 8 years of development experience
- Experience in developing services in the cloud/Kubernetes
- Experience with building data pipelines and analytics pipelines using like dataflow pubsub GKE
- Strong understanding of message queuing stream processing and highly scalable big data data stores
- Experience with RESTful interfaces and Build Management tools (Gradle maven)
- Strong understanding of microservicesbased deployments with the ability to design services
- Familiarity working with GCP or other Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Must have 5 years years exp with Java python to build faulttolerant distributed systems
- Strong believer of automation test and strive for higher code coverage
- Cando attitude on problemsolving quality and ability to execute

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between the following: $185k $210k/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
