Job Description
Shodair is excited to be adding a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to our team at Warren Elementary School. The Behavioral Intervention Specialist provides direct care supervision monitoring and interaction to students in a school based or educational setting under the supervision of School Based Services Manager. Helps monitor and maintain a safe classroom and utilizes therapeutic communication skills.
The ideal Behavioral Intervention Specialist candidate is someone who:
- Passionate about mental health
- Enjoys teaching social skills and emotional regulation
- Able to work with patients of all different backgrounds
- Can be a role model to students and provide individualized care
- Excited about serving Montanas youth!

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelors degree in human services social work or a related field is preferred however a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience working with SED youth will also be considered.
- Criminal Records Background Check Statement of Health and drug test required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
- Successful completion of Medication Aide training upon hire.
