Job Description

Job Description:

The Field Coop will work under the direction of/closely with one of CM&Bs Superintendents on a job site assigned upon hire. The position will develop a fundamental understanding of general commercial/industrial/institutional construction practices. The Field Coop/Intern reports directly to the Senior Vice President/Operations Steve Malenchini.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities General

  • Gain an understanding of scopes of work with jobspecific drawings and documents
  • Assist CM&B project superintendent in directing subcontractor tasks on a daytoday basis
  • Attend walkthrough with safety inspectors
  • Assist CM&B project superintendent to ensure job site safety is up to OSHA standards
  • Assist CM&B project superintendent with daily logs and weekly meeting preparation
  • Assist CM&B project superintendent with additional construction tasks in the field as necessary

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Construction Management major or related field
  • OSHA 10 required (can be completed upon hire)
  • Ability to travel to site daily
  • Accurate and efficient with a strong work ethic and interpersonal communication skills
