Project Planner

We are currently seeking a Project Planner to join our team.
Location: Ottawa Ontario

Responsibilities
- Develop deploy and improve governance processes methods and tools for bid and project management.
- Provide support and expertise within the scope of bid/project management.
- Coach and challenge teams within the area of expertise.
- Organize dedicated meetings with the core team.
- Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in progress meetings bid reviews and project reviews as required.
- Capitalize on best practices and propose recommendations and improvements.
- Share and disseminate best practices across the organization.
- Depending on specialization contribute to structuring scheduling estimating risk and opportunity management and reporting.
- For planning specialization:
- Identify deliverables and track their progress throughout the project rescheduling as necessary.
- Implement assessment processes for bid/project performance monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
- Expertise in planning risk management cost estimation or data management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in project management or a PMO role.
- Experience working in aerospace defence or a related industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Project Primavera or other scheduling tools.
- Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
