Job Description
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a global pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support and advice in areas critical to the companys franchise. The Senior Legal Counsel will liaise with various stakeholders and support different aspects of healthcare regulatory and pharmaceutical law. The Senior Legal Counsel will report to the Head of Legal. Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Offer guidance on prescription medicines ensuring compliance with healthcare and pharmaceutical laws
- Examine and approve scientific and promotional materials in addition to overseeing global projects and initiatives
- Oversee contract management and negotiations to support business operations
- Provide legal advice on competition law data privacy and other relevant legal matters pertaining to prescription medicines
- Lawyer with prior experience in healthcare regulatory and pharmaceutical law; inhouse legal experience in Switzerland within the life sciences sector is preferred
- Proven track record of delivering strategic legal advice within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in working with international teams and managing complex legal issues
- Excellent drafting and communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Highly organized efficient and hardworking with the capability to drive projects forward and meet set deadlines
