Job Description
Title:Mechanical Engineer
Location:Sunnyvale CA 100 In Office)
As a Mechanical Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing documenting and supporting the production of GPS related mechanical enclosures and accessories. Your designs will need to meet stringent requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and ingress protection (IPXX) sealing. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure that your designs are both innovative and manufacturable.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in mechanical design preferably with enclosures.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar.
Strong understanding of electromagnetic shielding and ingress protection (IPXX) sealing principles.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with documenting designs and supporting them through production.
What You Will Do:
Design mechanical enclosures that meet EMC and IP sealing requirements.
Create detailed documentation for designs including CAD models drawings and specifications.
Support the production process by providing design insights and resolving any issues that arise.
Collaborate with other engineering teams production staff and suppliers to ensure designs are feasible and costeffective.
Conduct design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
