Overview

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating productive and mutually beneficial relationships with customers across the food and nutrition market.

Responsibilities
1. Develop longterm productive relationships with current customers by understanding their business needs and seeking to address their challenges.
2. Ensure that the customer views LBBS as trusted partner and problemsolver.
3. Leverage market knowledge to seek opportunities for new business development. Identify prioritize nurture and develop potential sales.
4. Establish (and follow) a rigorous process for following up on new leads pursuing new lines of inquiry etc.
5. Understand market trends and competitive environment in our market segments.
6. Provide market and customer feedback to all internal stakeholders.
7. Maintain and grow an active Opportunity Pipeline.
8. Be an active member of the Food & Nutrition Vertical by leading the efforts on top suppliers and subvertical products that are key for our longterm growth.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum five years sales experience in the food & nutrition market with customer facing roles.
  • Proven sales track record with customers in the specifiedarea.

Knowledge and Skills

  • General knowledge of consumer and marketplace trends.
  • Generate leads with hunter mentality.
  • Familiarity with key customer contacts and/or relationships with suppliers is desired.
  • Excellent computer skills including (Microsoft Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint CRM).

  • The ability to work independently with little daytoday supervision.

  • Selfstarter who works with minimal supervision and is comfortable working in a dynamic changing environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others.
  • Must be able to travel 50 (mostly by vehicle).
