Job Description
Looking for an experienced plumber who is ready to take the knowledge they have accumulated throughout their career to help bring up the next generation of plumbers. If youre ready to ease your way out of a service truck this position is for you. Youre goal as our inhouse plumbing coach is to help set up our awesome apprentices and young journeymen for success and help them reach their goals. The knowledge you spent your entire career gathering will be put to use to benefit the young men/women who chose to work in the plumbing trade. As their coach you will be responsible for training them on all things necessary to be a successful service plumber.
Duties Include:
- Creating a training program for plumbing apprentices to work through towards getting in their own service truck
- Implement training sessions for technical aspects of plumbing (faucet rebuilds diagnosing electric water heaters etc.
- Ride along with apprentices for inthefield training
- Be a point of contact and resource for plumbers in the field with questions on service calls
- Hold individual meetings to address areas of improvement and strengths
- Keep a progress report for each individual that pertains to soft skills technical skills and overall attitude
- Create and foster a culture that emphasizes the importance of teamwork positivity and encouragement
