Job Description: Middle School Basketball Coach
Job Summary
The Middle School Basketball Coach will be responsible for coaching and mentoring middle school students in basketball. The coach will be expected to create a positive and safe environment for students to learn and grow in their basketball skills. The coach will also be expected to model Christian values and principles in all interactions with students parents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a basketball program that aligns with the schools mission and values
- Teach and mentor students in basketball skills and techniques
- Create a positive and safe environment for students to learn and grow in their basketball skills
- Model Christian values and principles in all interactions with students parents and staff
- Communicate effectively with students parents and staff
- Attend all practices games and team events
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and stored
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be a Christian
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have experience coaching basketball
- Must have a passion for working with middle school students
