Experience in marketing and promotions for an athletics program.
Experience marketing an assigned sport.
Degree in marketing sports management or a related field of study.

Job Description:

The Iowa State University Athletics Department is seeking hard working responsible motivated candidates for an entrylevel postgraduate associate position supporting Athletics Marketing operations. This position will provide exposure to professional aspects of collegiate athletics marketing in a progressive learning mode.

What youll do:

  • Oversee marketing promotions and gameday events for assigned sports
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans
  • Game day promotions and operations
  • Assist with football game day marketing operations
  • Manage autograph memorabilia requests
  • Provide customer service
  • Help with special events and other related duties
  • Perform all duties in adherence withNCAA Big 12 and university policies

The ideal candidates should have creativity and marketing/promotion skills; proficient use of social media; ability to plan multitask & problem solve; good communication skills; be committed to customer service and fan experience. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse clientele. This position works primarily daytime office hours but schedules will fluctuate weekly and require the ability to work at assigned evening and weekend events.

Position Details: Structured similar to a postgrad internship. $14$15/hour plus overtime pay; receives paid time off; full benefits package.

May provide guidance to students
