Job Description
The Nine Publishing Technology team continually delivers and maintains premium market leading digital products including: smh theage and afr across multiple platforms and systems.
Software Engineers are responsible for the design development and delivery of products and services that delight our customers and grow the business.
You will be responsible for developing highquality scalable and high performing solutions that align to business and technology goals. You will be working with technology leaders and other senior engineers to ensure consistency of our practices and processes across the Publishing Technology team.
Qualifications :
What we would like to see on your resume:
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with several general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Golang Python Ruby Node.js
- Experience in React JS HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience in building and integrating high performance REST APIs. .
- Previous experience in web/software design and development.
- Experience in OO Programming Language such as Java/C.
Desired skills
- Experience in designing and architecting high availability solutions.
- Experience in development and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Experience in cloud platforms containers and continuous delivery.
- Understand the value and importance of well tested code
