PLANET S.A. is looking for an enthusiastic highly skilled professional to join its International Business Development Team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience with Donor funded business acquisition activities be selfmotivated should have a positive thinking and a can do personality with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Scope: Contribute to the business acquisition efforts of international donorfunded projects in the geographic regions of interest for PLANET S.A. Being a key player in proposals preparation teams the role assumes responsibility for the coordination and timely submission of proposals in alignment with the companys quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the endtoend bidding process starting from the analysis of tender requirements up to proposal preparation and submission
- Coordinate with internal teams and consortium members to ensure timely preparation of the technical proposal the identification of Key Experts and preparation/collection of Administrative Documents
- Develop content for nontechnical sectors of the proposals such as backstopping consortium presentation reference cases
- Collect and review proposal drafts edit material and ensure final formatting and layout of proposals in preparation for delivery
- Analyse project costs in collaboration with proposal team in order to prepare the financial bid
Requirements
- University degree: postgraduate studies would be an asset
- A minimum of 3 years experience in similar position preferably in the framework of donor funded tenders (EU External Aid EIB World Bank EBRD etc.
- Ability to work with subject matter experts and leadership to develop nontechnical sections of the proposal content including executive summary preparation of project management and backstopping mechanism consortium etc.
- Knowledge of the procurement cycle for consulting and technical assistance projects
- Previous experience in drafting technical sections such as Strategy of a proposal is a strong asset
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English; Fluency in French is a strong asset
- Strong organization skills and ability to complete tasks in a fastpaced deadlinedrive environment
