Strong leadership abilities customer service experience and the capability to train entrylevel roofers while ensuring the timely completion of their daily tasks are essential for this role.
Job Description:
As a service foreman you will participate in a weekly meeting with the service team to review work orders and plan for the week ahead before heading out into the field. Your responsibilities will include identifying and fixing leaks as well as collaborating with the service manager if additional services are needed. You will use a mobile app to update work orders add notes and upload photos for documentation and analysis. Additionally you will work closely with a service helper and provide onthejob training to support their development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will require you to work outdoors in various weather conditions with the exception of extreme conditions. You will need to utilize personal protective equipment including safety harnesses when working on a roof. The role will involve frequent lifting maneuvering on and off equipment and working from ladders. Depending on weather conditions weekend work may be necessary throughout the current week. There may also be occasional travel out of state for 23 days which could involve returning home after completing the work or staying overnight if driving back is not feasible. Additionally you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the companys service truck. Providing exceptional customer service while on duty is a key aspect of the role and you will also be expected to lead and train your service helper for their success.
Job Requirements:
Experienced with Metal TPO PBC EPDM Flat Shingle all not required but preferred.
OSHA 10/30 preferred not required.
Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
Able to successfully pass a background check and MVR.
Able to train and work with a service helper.
Able to upkeep and maintain company assigned service truck.
Ability to lift carry climb ladders and perform hands on work.
Utilize software app to document notes and photos for each work order.
Ability to locate roof leaks and problem solve roofing issues.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
