RESEARCH ASSISTANT SCIENTIST
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida invites applications for a fulltime twelvemonth timelimited nontenuretrack faculty position at the rank of Research Assistant Scientist. Initial appointment is for 1 year reappointment is anticipated based on performance and funding.
The faculty member will be expected to conduct research and development (R&D) on photonic integrated circuits (PIC) including but not limited to pioneering innovating and prototyping.
Support educational mission through class laboratory support and WFD activities for CHIPSrelated grants.
Salary to commensurate with education and experience.
PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
