Senior MTS Analog Design
Responsibilities:
Onsemi is seeking a Senior MTS Analog design Engineer NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Power Management to join our growing team in Bengaluru India. This group is responsible for development of Power management products including DCDC PMIC/POL Multiphase controllers Dr. MOS ACDC converters LED drivers SiC drivers Switches and efuses for consumer industrial and automotive applications. In this role you will focus on the following
- Mentor a diverse team of experienced and junior Analog IC design engineers
- Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
- Make assignments for team members providing design guidance as needed developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project
- Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives
- Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout
- Work with systems engineers application engineers and marketing to prepare product briefs datasheets application notes and assisting in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contributing to roadmap formulation and new concept creation
- Define IP test plan and working along with product and test engineer.
- Define and manage IP quality standard for both industrial and automotive applications
- Collaborate with validation product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
- Interface and lead discussions with the customer and/or ONsemi field sales/field applications teams to understand customer designs problems and support as required
- Actively participate in hiring developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leader
- Lead motivate provide training and create career growth opportunities for the team
- Collaborate with overseas design and systems teams on technical aspects IP development sharing of knowhow
- Provide technical leadership in driving architecture design and circuit design based on highlevel specifications
- Own technical outcome of design verification implementation and of Power Management ICs with complexities that can span from simple regulators to complex designs control loops and digital interfaces

- Understand project goals create a realistic schedule and resource plan track schedule to plan monitor progress and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives

Qualifications
Key Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related 20 years of experience or MS 18 years of experience
- Solid track record of releasing complex ICs/IPs to market
- Extensive knowledge of engineering processes principles and methodologies
- Goal and outcomefocused with the ability to handle multiple projects within the team
- Ability to attract and retain key engineering talent
- Experience in simplifying complex problems into smaller problems and solving them as a team
- Ability to clearly articulate issues challenges and concerns to all levels of management
- Solid understanding of various Power Converters such as Buck Boost LDOs and relevant Analog building blocks
- Solid understanding of topologies and architectures for Constantontime Peak and Valley Current Mode Voltage Mode MultiPhase Controllers and Smart Power Stages
- Solid understanding of DCDC PMIC/POL Multiphase controllers Dr. MOS ACDC converters LED drivers SiC devices and drivers
- Strong Analog IC design skills debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing
- Familiarity with advanced Bipolar CMOS and High Voltage BCD technology Process Device Physics Semiconductor Manufacturing processes and their impact on Analog performance
- understanding of large power transistor (LDMOS) Design Layout and Robustness
- Proficiency in leadingedge design and verification tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations Cadence Spectre for schematic capture simulation layout and tapeout
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success both internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable ontime project delivery
