Job Summary:
Role holder will lead identifyingdeveloping and managing vendors to ensure supply of highquality materials (rawmaterial as well as packaging material) for ITCs Personal Care Products BusinessDivision. Role involves strategic sourcing negotiation and contractmanagement to optimize costs improve supplier performance and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Development:
Identify andevaluate potential vendors for raw materials packaging and other servicesrequired for the personal care products.
Conduct thoroughassessments and audits of potential suppliers to ensure they meet ITCsquality ethical and sustainability standards.
Develop andmaintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuousimprovement and innovation.
2. Strategic Sourcing:
Lead the sourcingstrategy for personal care product components ensuring alignment with businessgoals and objectives.
Analyze markettrends supply chain risks and opportunities to develop strategies for costreduction quality improvement and supply chain reliability.
Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams (R&D Quality Production Marketing) to understandand fulfill material and service requirements.
3. Contract Management:
Negotiate anddraft contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms conditions andpricing.
Ensure contractsare comprehensive and include key performance indicators (KPIs) and servicelevel agreements (SLAs) to measure supplier performance.
Monitor contractcompliance and manage renewals amendments and terminations as necessary.
4. Supplier PerformanceManagement:
Implement supplierperformance management processes including regular reviews performancemetrics tracking and corrective action plans.
Address andresolve supplier performance issues promptly to minimize impact on productionand product quality.
Foster a cultureof continuous improvement with suppliers through feedback training andcollaborative problemsolving.
5. Risk Management:
Identify andmitigate risks in the supply chain including potential disruptions qualityissues and compliance concerns.
Develop andmaintain contingency plans to ensure business continuity in case of supplierfailures or emergencies.
Ensure compliancewith all relevant regulations standards and corporate policies.
6. Cost Management:
Drive costsavinginitiatives through effective negotiation value analysis and alternativesourcing strategies.
Monitor and reporton cost trends savings achieved and opportunities for further cost reduction.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of810 years of experience (including leading teams) in vendor developmentstrategic sourcing and contract management preferably in:
Personal Care industry OR
FMCG industry OR
Fragrancing Houses OR
Chemicals industry.
Solid understanding of suppliernetworks and materials
Strong negotiation and contractmanagement skills.
Excellent analytical andproblemsolving abilities.
Proven ability to managemultiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
Team management skills
