As a Funding Specialist youll oversee the client funding process from start to finish managing disbursements and resolving any postdisbursement reconciliation issues.

About the role

  • Secure funds from relevant parties to resolve shortages.
  • Maintain compliance with all aspects of the moneyout role including annual training updated background checks every three years and state licensing (where applicable).
  • Collaborate closely with various business units and independently conduct research to complete tasks and resolve issues.
  • Investigate shortages and overages to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Adhere to timesensitive deadlines outlined in Service Level Agreements and ALTA Best Practices.
  • Identify and communicate trends related to lenders or processes to drive upstream improvements.
  • Identify potential fraud risks and follow procedures to mitigate losses effectively.

About you

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a role involving the handling of money in customer service and/or clientfacing setting.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain state licenses if required.
  • Proven proficiency in recognizing patterns addressing discrepancies and applying effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Title Mortgage and/or Real Estate industries.
  • Proficiency in balancing ledgers with accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting accounting and/or banking operations
