The Business Development Manager (d/f/m) Hardware Solutions is responsible for developing and growing the business of our Hardware solutions within biotech customers directly. Additionally they are responsible for establishing and nurturing the relationship with main engineering companies operating with our biopharma biotech and CDMO customers positioning our hardware as solutions for end customers.
This position reports to the EMEA Downstream Hardware leader and is part of the Hardware solutions sales specialists team located in Europe and will be working remotely to cover the EMEA region
What you will do:
Promote Cytivas portfolio and expertise by engaging with Engineering companies and end customers at early project stages
Develop and maintain effective communication channels to keep engineering companies and end customers informed about new offerings and expertise and clearly articulate Cytivas capabilities for Upstream and Downstream processes
Achieve orders and revenue targets by designin of Cytiva solutions at our customers via Engineering Companies and develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software
Support commercial and technical teams with customer URS review and be the key contact for follow up project nurturing and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers expectations.
Negotiating master agreements and contracts including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to Engineering companies
Who you are:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in life sciences or relevant field
Several years of commercial/applications experience preferably in the Biotechnology industry
Product knowledge for Upstream and Downstream processes related equipment and solutions and understanding of Automation and SW requirements
English language fluent in speaking reading and writing
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel 40 of time overnight staying within EMEA
Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with complex project management is nice to have
