Summary
For the Data Analysis and Fusion department we are looking for a Product Owner for Machine Learning in Image Processing (f/m/d) at our branch office in Aalen as soon as possible.In order to provide the best possible protection for people and material current development trends are moving in the direction of increasing the number and type of sensors in order to record as much information as possible. As peoples ability to evaluate this information is not increasing to the same extent intelligent algorithms are needed to evaluate this sensor data and put it in relation to each other. In this way a picture of the overall situation is generated which relieves the operator and at the same time protects him in the best possible way. Your role as Product Owner will involve managing the development research and further development of AIbased image analysis algorithms to provide our users with a better overview and safety.
Your Tasks
Idea generator and contact person for the topics of machine/deep learning and image processing
Responsibility for the development and implementation of the product strategy for AI products
Identification of customer needs and requirements in the field of image processing AI
Collaboration with the development team to manage product development and ensure that products meet requirements
Responsibility for the AI product roadmap and feature prioritization
Monitor product performance and analyze data to suggest improvements
Evaluate latest technologies in close collaboration with internal experts the research/technology department and external research institutes
Participate in the preparation of quantity structures as well as budget planning and monitoring
Collaborating with external development partners and coordinating reviews as well as establishing and maintaining networks with universities and institutes
Supporting internal reviews as part of development processes
Publication of research results at international conferences
Your Profile
Completed studies in the field of computer science natural sciences aerospace or comparable preferably with a doctorate
Several years of professional experience in the development of image processing algorithms
Relevant experience in the field of researchrelated AI development or as a product owner
Several years of experience in dealing with internal customers / stakeholders and external partners / cooperation partners
Indepth knowledge of machine / deep learning techniques and traditional image processing
Good communication and presentation skills convincing appearance and willingness to take on responsibility
Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
Knowledge of agile methods and processes
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple understandable messages
Fluency in German and English
