Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- 10.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 1015 hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefitted position. Only candidates who meet all requirements and competences are eligible to he hired in this position.
The Department of Athletics is seeking qualified candidates who would like to work our 2025 UND Summer Womens Basketball Camps. You will help guide support and improve peoples basketball skills from ages ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate your expertise and indepth knowledge of the fundamentals of basketball drills
- Ability to interact with a wide array of socioeconomic backgrounds
- Work within the policies and procedures of the University environment
- Operate as a team player within a group
- Willing and able to follow the directions of the supervisors
Required Competencies
- Experience with collegiate womens basketball as either a player coach or graduate assistant.
Ability to inspire and motivate
Minimum Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of:
o Sports skills
o Teaching and training techniques unique to basketball
o Communication and interpersonal skills
o NCAA rules
Able to assess strengths of each individual camper and how to utilize them
Monitor and evaluate the basketball skill level of campers - Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
