The ResolutionMD software our award winning mobile visualization platform enables medical professionals to securely view 2D and 3D radiology images and reports from a wide variety of computer and mobile devices to diagnose and treat patients as well as remotely collaborate with other practitioners to diagnose from any location.
Position: Technical Writer
Our team is looking for a highly motivated and teamoriented Technical Writer to help shape the future of ResolutionMD. We believe in transparency collaboration and disruptive thinking while we passionately work to simplify clinical diagnostic workflows. Our goal is to build a better diagnostic imaging solution that eases the burden on doctors improves patient outcomes and saves lives. As a member of our agile product team youll collaborate with a group of passionate professionals to deliver new features and participate in the continuous improvement of our technical documentation.
Your responsibilities
- Produce high quality technical documentationincluding user guides administration guides release notes and help articleswhile employing community accepted writing principles best practices and tools
- Work closely with subject matter experts such as software engineers QA and support specialists as well as other product stakeholders to create edit and update various types of documentation for both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Write edit and update User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) copy
- Manage localized copies of enduser documentation including ordering and incorporating translations for new features and product updates
- Actively engage in feature design discussions providing input and ideas
- Actively engage in scrum ceremonies and development processes
Your profile
- Degree in English Communication Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2 years of experience as a technical writer in a software delivery team creating user guides administrators manuals release notes knowledge base articles etc.
- Knowledge of MadCap Flare for creating singlesource output
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for creating webbased documentation
- Experience with Agile software development environments
- Comfortable with GitHub/Git and the general pull request process
- Experience working in the healthcare industry with a focus on medical imaging is an asset
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software technologies and subject matters
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
