As the Director of AI and Software Engineering for the Actions suite within Alli youll lead an innovative and collaborative team that thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering cuttingedge solutions. The Actions suite powers AIdriven tools that help scale digital marketing strategies for some of the worlds most renowned global brands.
In this role youll work closely with engineers product managers and crossfunctional technology leaders driving innovation while ensuring smooth highimpact software delivery. Youll be instrumental in shaping the technical vision building scalable systems and continuously improving the platform to meet the evolving needs of clients and the business. What Youll Be Doing
- Lead 24 distributed teams responsible for 13 products within the Alli suite ensuring they meet OKRs while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Provide technical oversight guiding key architectural decisions to support scalable dataintensive applications.
- Define team performance expectations including growth reducing technical debt and delivering on product milestones.
- Partner with the Product team to evolve the roadmap based on customer feedback team capacity and business needs balancing new feature development with addressing technical debt.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional data and technology leaders to align strategies and deliver impactful solutions.
- Build and scale highperforming teams by upskilling existing engineers and hiring top talent consistently raising the bar for quality.
- Stay ahead of GenAI and emerging technologies to ensure the platform remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
What You Will Bring
- 5 years in a senior engineering IC role or a related field with a bachelors or masters degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as an engineering manager with proven success leading and mentoring teams while remaining technically handson or a related field with a bachelors or masters degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a managerofmanagers role overseeing multiple teams and products.
- Deep expertise with modern technologies for building highly scalable dataintensive applications with familiarity across at least 60 of PMGs tech stack (e.g. AWS GCP Docker Terraform Python JavaScript PostgreSQL OpenAI).
- Proficiency in distributed system design principles delivering performant clean and maintainable code.
- Strong understanding of MarTech and its role in shaping digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with infrastructureascode tools like Terraform Ansible Chef or Puppet to automate and streamline workflows.
- Handson experience or working interest in Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) and platforms such as OpenAI Gemini or Bedrock.
- Advanced knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes ensuring reliable and scalable deployments.
- A teamfirst mindset with exceptional communication skills to align crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- The ability to inspire and motivate teams fostering a collaborative inclusive and highperforming culture.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with experience guiding teams toward multiyear roadmaps and delivering impactful results.
- Interest or experience in the digital marketing industry particularly in how software solutions intersect with marketing strategy.
- A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a continual learner staying at the forefront of media innovation while prioritizing client success with a customerfocused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.

- Cloud platforms like AWS and GCP

Nice To Have Qualifications
- Interest or familiarity working in the Digital Marketing industry
