Salary Range: $37944.00
Contract Term Length:12 Months

Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for an Instructional Technologist I.
Job Duties:
Provide technology assistance for Blackboard and basic Microsoft Office tools in person by phone MS Teams and by email for students
Provide support in elearning lab space for employees and/or students as needed
Provide technical support to faculty requests during peak periods and as needed
Provide assistance with annual course reviews and evaluations
Assist with course migrations template imports and standard documentation edits/updates
Attend KCTCS Online Learning Peer Team meetings with the director and/or attend when the director is unavailable
Assist with development/provide support for instructional design
Assist with document conversion for ADA requirements
Assist with video recording support and closed captioning
Offer workshops/trainings
Create and maintain training documentation
Create and maintain instructional training and guidance videos
Maintain and monitor orientation materials for students on Blackboard
Assist with course evaluation collection and maintenance
Assist with compliance documentation data collection and requests
Assisting new faculty with appropriate training in the LMS
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer a candidate with a minimum of two years of experience in instructional design using Blackboard or a similar learning management system.
Additional Skills Requested:
This is a twelvemonth staff position at 37.5 hours per week. Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook. Additional technology proficiency in using Microsoft Teams and instructional technology tools.
