Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Academic Resource Center is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our academic support team as Peer Academic Peer Academic Success Coaches. Peer Academic Success Coaches play a crucial role in fostering student success by providing oneonone coaching mentorship and academic support.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct oneonone coaching sessions with assigned students to discuss academic goals challenges and strategies for success.
Provide support in areas such as time management study skills notetaking and goal setting.
Collaborate with students to create personalized academic improvement plans.
Assist students in accessing and utilizing campus resources tutoring services and academic workshops.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student engagement and success.
Keep accurate records of coaching sessions and student progress.
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT
NO Federal Work Study eligibility not required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate.
Strong academic standing with a demonstrated understanding of effective study strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to empathize with and motivate peers facing academic challenges.
Reliable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Previous peer mentoring coaching or leadership experience is a plus.
