Position Summary:
The People Services Generalist is a professional level position and carries out responsibilities in the HR environment.
The People Services Generalist will operate under the guidance of a local People Services Director but often works independently to assist leaders and assure objectivity and fairness for employees while supporting the Mission Vision and Core Values of the company.
The People Services Generalistwill report directly to the facility People Services Director. This role will support and monitor implementation of company initiatives policies and procedures .
Support HR Leaders to assure recruiting ER and EH functions are carried out with high level of accuracy Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies) Assure records are TJC ready and meet regulatory standards Assist in funneling work to the Service Center as prescribed. Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures Process employees requests and provide relevant information Coordinate HR projects meetings and training seminars Understands TJC and CMS HR requirements. Maintains files and assists HR Leader with regulatory compliance. Assists HR Leader as requested during surveys. Takes particular interest into assuring orientation (dept. and hospital) and TJC standards related to credentialing and onboarding are complete and accurate.
