Role Overview:The
Account Manageris responsible for postsales partner relationships acting as the ConnectWise ambassador. The role supports and expands partner service offerings and utilization working closely with the Partner Success team. This position is focused on growth partners driving business expansion through proactive engagement collaboration and strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a defined list of about 200 partner accounts with a focus on growth
- Work with the AE team who is responsible for selling net new products into the existing customer base (e.g. SOC security services)
- Conduct proactive outbound calls to uncover additional business opportunities
- Support crossfunctional collaboration with internal sales teams to drive sellthrough strategies
- Maintain regular partner contact to understand objectives challenges and growth goals
- Meet sales objectives tied to quota and business activity
- Identify and qualify expansion opportunities for Sales teams
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners
- Manage renewals and ensure continued partner engagement
- Utilize MEDDIC/BANT forecasting methodologies
- Ensure strong CSAT/NPS outcomes
Requirements:- Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience
- Strong preference to hire someone from the MSP vendorland that understands the MSP landscape and core solution offerings
- 3 years of relevant experience in account management or sales
- Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with MEDDIC/BANT methodologies and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
- Strong customer service skills with a sales mindset
- Organized detailoriented and selfmotivated
