What You Will Do

- As the A&P Technician you will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to servicing operating maintaining repairing and removing equipment
- You will conduct technical analysis of product implementations modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications
- You will manage technical products services logistics and provisioning quantity surveying and configurations to assigned customers
- You will also troubleshoot technical problems and issues recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications
What You Will Learn
- How to serve as local onsite RTX representative to the customers organization managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements
Qualifications You Must Have
- Associates Degree (or other 2year post high school training) with 6 years of mechanical assembly troubleshooting/repair overhaul or related experience
- A&P License
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
- A&P Technician experience
- Shop/Bench refurbishment experience
- Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment troubleshooting repairs and return to service of engines modules and components
- Airframe experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC)powered aircraft
- Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience rigging R&I MRPs aircraft interface
- Customer service experience

- Pratt & Whitney in Cypress CA is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAAs regulation 14 CFR part 120 as well as 49 CFR part 40.
- This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 55000 USD 111000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
