We are one of the leading providers of Advisory related services in Greece. The Outsourcing team of PwC Greece is the leading provider of Accounting Payroll & HR solutions in Greece assisting organisations to get value from our outsourcing experience and bring together the skills to deliver improvements in people processes and technology. With a team of approximately two hundred professionals we aim to provide holistic solutions to our clients supporting them in confronting the challenging and constantly changing environment in Greece.
In this dynamic environment we are now looking for high calibre Senior Accounting Professional for our team in Athens. As a member of our team you will:
- Manage Accounting Finance and Reporting Outsourcing activities to clients and have overall responsibility for the process.
- Review the statutory financial statements under Greek GaaP and IFRS.
- Review the corporate tax returns (VAT CIT Withholding tax etc..
- Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements.
- Coordinate project teams motivate others and build team spirit.
What we are looking for:
- At least four 4 years of professional experience
- Previous experience in a relevant role at a consulting firm will be considered an asset.
- Experience of working on multiple accounts will be highly regarded
- Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign toptier university.
- Strong knowledge of Tax and Accounting legislation.
- Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters.
- Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing in a clear concise and professional manner (both in English and Greek)
