Audit Senior
A dynamic and successful Auditing & Accounting firm providing personalised and valueadded services to clients assisting them in succeeding in a tough economic and competitive market environment. Are currently looking for an Audit Senior/ Manager for their offices in Brackenhurst
As a leading and professional firm they are constantly aware of the critical importance of customer service satisfaction. Moreover accessibility to the expert knowledge of our experienced and uniquely skilled team enables them to exceed our clients expectations.
Duties would include but not be limited to:
- Spearheading the planning and concluding phases of audits
- Conducting preengagement activities including establishing a clear audit approach in collaboration with clients including client visits which does involve travel
- Assisting where necessary with SAICA trainees
- Identifying planning priorities such as materiality assessments
- Articulating the audit strategy and its progression to partners and senior managers on the project
- Skilfully reviewing and crafting financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS
- Evaluating the going concern status of entities and their operations for the foreseeable future by scrutinizing forecasts
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
- Completed your SAICA and CTA in progress
- DraftWorx
- 3 years articles (post articles studies)
- 3 years Audit experience
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and be able to converse in Afrikaans
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
