Job Description
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a multinational life sciences company. The Senior Legal Counsel will support the regional General Counsel in advising on commercial legal matters related to the companys contractual negotiations and processes for the European market. Proficiency in both German and English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise European market business stakeholders on commercial law focusing on distribution sponsorship grant and healthcare professional (HCP) agreements related to the companys products
- Draft analyze and provide counsel on agreements for commercial matters involving the sale of medical diagnostics
- Assist in developing and implementing internal compliance training initiatives for business teams and enhance compliance practice awareness within the company
- Collaborate with the Senior Legal Counsel to address additional legal requests related to commercial contracting and general legal advice for the European market
- Review and revise terms and conditions of agreements
- Stay informed about relevant industry developments
- Commercially trained lawyer with 710 years of experience ideally with prior exposure in a law firm corporate law department or life sciences company with a focus on commercial contracting
- Experience in creating playbooks templates and streamlining commercial contracting processes involving both legal and nonlegal stakeholders
- Excellent drafting skills communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in both German and English both written and verbal
- Highly organized and efficient with a strong work ethic and the capacity to manage projects and meet established deadlines
