BI Analyst and Architect with extensive experience in relational databases (Oracle / PostgresSQL) and ETL and experience in designing developing and implementing complex solutions with integrations to other technologies and solutions required for a reputable global company based in Gauteng

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understanding of other BI Tools
  • AWS S3
  • Ability to develop within a specific soughtafter programming language and or Cloud services
  • Strong working knowledge with software development tools techniques and approaches used to generate and prepare data to be used by the application solutions
  • Cloud computing technologies Business drivers and emerging computing trends
  • Understanding of integration between different technologies
  • Working within an Agile environment
  • Oracle & ETL (Extract Transform and Load)
    • Data preparation for the FrontEnd Applications (e.g. SAP BO Webi QlikSense)
    • Write SQL PL/SQL (packages stored procedures functions) and use Oracle Scheduler to automate ETL of source data for full and deltaloads to an Oracle persistence layer.
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services)
    • Quicksight Must have
    • Glue ETL data integration
    • Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2
    • Aurora PostgreSQL fully managed relational database engine
    • Database Administration
