Job Description
BI Analyst and Architect with extensive experience in relational databases (Oracle / PostgresSQL) and ETL and experience in designing developing and implementing complex solutions with integrations to other technologies and solutions required for a reputable global company based in Gauteng
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understanding of other BI Tools
- AWS S3
- Ability to develop within a specific soughtafter programming language and or Cloud services
- Strong working knowledge with software development tools techniques and approaches used to generate and prepare data to be used by the application solutions
- Cloud computing technologies Business drivers and emerging computing trends
- Understanding of integration between different technologies
- Working within an Agile environment
- Oracle & ETL (Extract Transform and Load)
- Data preparation for the FrontEnd Applications (e.g. SAP BO Webi QlikSense)
- Write SQL PL/SQL (packages stored procedures functions) and use Oracle Scheduler to automate ETL of source data for full and deltaloads to an Oracle persistence layer.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Quicksight Must have
- Glue ETL data integration
- Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2
- Aurora PostgreSQL fully managed relational database engine
- Database Administration
