Job Description

Join our clients dynamic team in Panama!

A leading organization in the shipbuilding industry is seeking a highly motivated Vessel Warranty and Support Manager. Based in Panama you will ensure customer satisfaction and provide expert vessel support acting as the key client point of contact for warranty and postdelivery technical needs coordinating with technical teams and the shipyard in France.

About the Role:

You will be the primary liaison between the client and shipyard ensuring seamless communication and efficient resolution of technical issues related to warranty and support. This includes managing warranty obligations coordinating technical interventions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our client is a global leader in designing and constructing highperformance vessels for various sectors known for innovation and quality in maritime solutions and dedicated to providing comprehensive client support.

    What you will do:

    Vessel Warranty Management:

      • Serve as the main customer point of contact during the warranty period.
      • Prioritize customer satisfaction and protect company interests.
      • Provide regular reports to clients and the Operational Support Manager in France.
      • Monitor performance indicators.
      • Manage onboard diagnostics repairs and technical interventions.
      • Ensure traceability of feedback.

      Technical Support Management:

      • Supervise local warranty and aftersales technicians in Guyana and the Bahamas.
      • Assist with support systems (spares tools documentation).
      • Collaborate on vessel maintenance planning.
      • Support fault diagnostics.
      • Inform the shipyard of client needs (training spares interventions).
      • Handle aftersales service tasks (refits maintenance etc..

      What you bring:

      • 10 years of relevant industry experience
      • Former merchant navy officer or navy noncommissioned officer superintendent armament engineer naval engineerOR comparable education/experience.
      • Excellent interpersonal listening and communication skills to build trust with clients and internal teams.
      • Diplomatic approach to all interactions(customer handling and/or customer interaction).
      • Strong technical and organizational skills ability to manage priorities independently and a pragmatic approach.
      • Fluent in Spanish and English (French is a plus).
      • Proficiency in standard IT tools.
