As the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) In Service Support Program Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery; technical schedule and cost performance; of ESSM Block 1 and 2 sustainment solutions and services. You will also be the principal point of contact for communication with our customers which include over 15 user nations. In this capacity you will lead a cross functional multilocation team focused on delivering capability while ensuring achievement of all business metrics. As the owner of Profit and Loss (P&L) for this business line reporting to the Director ESSM Programs; you will have significant decision making and directional authority and be accountable for delivering against commitments and driving business growth through development and delivery of innovative life cycle sustainment solutions.

You will work closely with LCE team the Product Line Operations Integrated Supply Chain Quality Engineering and Program Management teams to apply disciplined engineering and program management processes to establish and monitor metrics and ensure excellence in . This work scope involves multiple Specialty Engineering disciplines including but not limited to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Sustainment Planning Logistics Management Training Technical Documentation Depot Operations Ordnance Assessment Reliability Safety and/or FMS/DCS Customer Management.

This is an onsite position at our Tucson AZ facility.

What You Will Do:

  • Achieve technical cost and schedule objectives through collaboration and monitoring of ISS work scope utilizing standard program management tools (Earned Value Management (EVM) Integrated Master Schedule Functional metrics etc..
  • Drive the daytoday program cadence (battle rhythm) of the ESSM ISS program i.e. agile customer status metrics and continuous improvement towards achieving predictive results with specific focus on the achievement of annual depot targets.
  • Achieve ISS AOP commitments.
  • Execute as the direct customer interface for ISS scope.
  • Compile & present ISS status at the program level Customer Program Management Reviews (PMR) including technical schedule cost status and root cause/corrective action.
  • Ensuring alignment integration and open/frequent communication among Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Fulfilling Statement of Work Requirements with baseline plan and recovery approaches.
  • Proposal creation Basis of Estimate (BOE) creation inputs updates and negotiations decomposing Statement of Work requirements and baseline plan with recovery approaches as necessary for the Depot Level Maintenance Facility (DLMF) contract and the Design Agent contract
  • Drive the daytoday program cadence (battle rhythm) of the ESSM ISS program i.e. agile customer status metrics and continuous improvement towards achieving predictive results with specific focus on the achievement of annual depot targets.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A University Degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Prior Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Prior Program/Project Management Experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proven leadership experience managing a large team to deliver results.
  • Experience operating preferably leading in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with IPDS EVMS IMS Risk & Opportunity Management program planning budgeting and tracking to cost and schedule.
  • Experience leading cross functional teams
  • Experience in management of international programs including Solid knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and RTX Export and Import processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • CORE Certified EVMS certified PM6 Certified
  • Subcontract Management Program Management or Integrated Product Team experience
  • Ability to manage varied tasks requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines in a fastpaced dynamic environment with timecritical requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of customer relationship management
  • Prior experience managing project or program cost schedule and risk.
  • Ability to brief customers on program status/objectives
  • Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Proven ability to understand complex systems and processes

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
