Bengalla Mining Company (a member of New Hope Group) is a joint venture with a strong track record of achievement. Were focused on strong results across safety productivity and profitability. Operational since 1999 Bengalla is in Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley and supplies international markets with approximately 15 Mtpa of highquality coal.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Technology Support Officer working a MondayFriday dayshift roster. Reporting to the Technology Superintendent the Technology Support Officers role is to support all areas of the business with the daytoday use of Technology Systems.
The Technology team is a small group of passionate professionals supporting both the Operational Technology and Information Technology systems for the mine. This is a diverse and challenging role requiring strong technical and problem solving skills. The focus for this role will be the Information Technology comprising:
- Windows Active Directory account management
- Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Account management within our Pulse ERP system
- Hardware support for DELL desktop and laptops
- Maintaining security and patching requirements
- Mobile device management (primarily Samsung with some iOS devices)
- Troubleshoot operating system and software application issues
- Assist with maintaining server and network infrastructure
The Technology team also support Operational Technology systems with the successful applicant having the potential opportunity to expand into areas such as:
- DAMM TETRA 2way radio
- Private LTE / 4G wireless network
- Modular Dispatch Fleet management system
- High precision GPS
- Fatigue and collision awareness safety systems
- CCTV networks
- IoT sensor networks
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Formal qualifications in Information Technology
- Industry qualifications such as Microsoft Cisco etc.
- Previous experience in an onsite technology support role
- Technical problem solving skills
- Good time and task management skills
- Previous experience with an IT job ticketing system
