We are looking for a Business Analystto support our client based in Miami FL.
US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.
This is an hybridposition. Candidates must be located in South Florida.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support our client a local government organization in Miami FL. The Business Analyst will assist in implementing a complex largescale application by working alongside a diverse team of analysts supporting various County Departments.The candidate will work closely with our client and vendor teams and must be local to South Florida due to occasional onsite requirements.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Requirement Gathering and Solution Design:- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into User Stories technical specifications and system design.
- Conduct interviews workshops and meetings to elicit comprehensive and accurate requirements.
- Analyze and understand the existing business processes within the organization.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Translate complex data findings into actionable business insights.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic software integration and architectural design.
- Conduct system testing including functional integration and assisting with user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability of the implemented systems.
- Assist with testing activities including test planning test case creation and test .
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Manage project tasks related to business analysis activities using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Track progress and coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with software vendors coordinate vendor demonstrations and oversee the implementation of vendor solutions.
- Assist in change management activities related to system implementations including conducting impact assessments developing training materials and providing support to endusers during the transition period.
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders technical teams and project managers.
- Provide regular project updates status reports and conduct presentations to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and milestones.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of supported systems.
- Identify areas for improvement conduct postimplementation reviews and recommend enhancements to optimize system functionality and user experience.
- Identify risks and issues related to business analysis activities and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Escalate critical issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a fulltime contract position with possibleextensions and pay commensurate with experience up to$83000per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications you need
A successful candidatehas the following experience:
- Bachelors degree or masters degree in Business Administration Communication Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum of five 5 years of experience in software implementation and business process analysis.
- Experience in working with complex IT software projects in large organizations using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in gathering business requirements and documenting business processes.
- Experienced in business analysis in complex implementation and integrated software solutions.
- Proficient with data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI and Excel) data management and infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
