- In alignment with Category Management develop procurement strategies for regionally specific categories and tail spend initiatives to support company operations.
- Negotiates and implements multisite or national sourcing strategies. Utilizes comprehensive and systemic market analysis to achieve lowest total cost and best value to the company.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to assist in the achievement of site objectives.
- Execute the RFP/tender process manage terms and condition negotiations.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and suppliers to ensures technical requirements are met.
- Responsible for tracking multiple KPI related to stakeholder engagement strategy implementation change management spend analysis and operational progress on procurement .
Roles & Responsibilities
Activities and duties will vary dependent upon functional area assigned. Activities may include but are not limited to:
- Analyzes spend data/trends to identify and develop strategic sourcing initiatives. Assesses risks and develops models associated with supply and technical compliance.
- Ensures the deployment of strategic purchasing plans driven by Global Procurement and Manufacturing objectives.
- Maintains focus on added value total cost of ownership and cost savings. Implements KPIs to measure performance level of the sourcing strategies and supplier effectiveness.
- Maintain contract ownership of delegated outline agreements and manage accordingly.
- Promotes excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders and other supporting departments.
- Collaborates with Procurement Specialists in the implementation of sourcing initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of changing commodityrelated business trends and the possible impact to the company.
- Support supplier continuous improvement initiatives including efforts to resolve supplier and site issues/disputes.

Min. Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
- Procurement/Supply Chain experience required.
- 5 years of chemical or Oil & Gas experience preferred.
- Experience using SAP ERP system preferred.
